yesterday, jason kottke blogged about a musical group called pomplamoose that has created a new medium of sound called "VideoSong". VideoSong speaks to the transparency and pomo nature of social media. the medium hinges on one rule; what you see is what you get. all music is posted with an accompanying music video that shows the viewer what they're hearing. so there's no lip-syncing and no hidden instruments, voices, or sounds. very cool.here's pomplamoose covering lady gaga's "telephone":
