i've always loved lichtenstein's interiors (see the the warhol "mao" painting?). there's something wonderfully soothing about them (probably has something to do with the de Stijl horizontal/vertical lines, color scheme, and Rietveld-esque furniture). according to design crisis, the lichtenstein look ois catching on, see this room designed by jeffrey miller:
i'd love to see these in real life (skyline included)...someone open a lichtenstein hotel.
