here's a great exchange between mick jagger and john lennon from the '96 film release of The Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus, the swingin hippie fest arranged by the stones in 1968. mick's trademark tongue-in-cheek-ly ingratiating tone is in full exhibition here as he introduces lennon's dirty mac, the supergroup he formed especially for the event, and their performance of the beatles' tune "yer blues." i think they're stoned. if you haven't already watched the full DVD, go out and get it.
