lego recreations pt. II

via Digg

Perhaps there is an innate desire in all of us to recreate our favorite things in lego. Reminiscent of last week's lego post, we have here some recreations of classic NES screen shots. I expected a Zelda and a Donkey Kong, or at least a Mario, but these will do.

nabaztag: a rabbit secretary

a cute wifi rabbit called the Nabaztag is all the rage. it receives/reads aloud texts and emails, tells you the news/weather, listens with his bellybutton, does tai chi, sings, dances, reads paper placed ahead of him, has a light language setting so he doesn't bother you, has voice options like car gps systems, can marry other nabaztags...to name a few things. can do sooooo much more !

"a radio that only talks when it has something to say."

and thought i wanted a tamagotchi?

Nerdbags

PCH and I were chatting about this over the wkend... and here it is today, all over the internets.

Our ideal looks were certainly not nerdy, but you get the idea. Mine was the JFK Jr look; Pete liked a variation, the Tom Selleck. Either way, phenomenal looks for guys who like having necks.

"You don’t want to be the guy in the gym with the 200-pound bench-press guy. Not just because those guys are generally assholes, but doing that kind of workout is going to make you look like one of those assholes. It’s maybe embarrassing to admit that degree of self-consciousness about it, but even in college I tailored my workouts to look like the guy who looks fit but doesn’t spend too much time in the gym."
