we started the week with some african jams, so for those of you who took pleasure in the jangly goodness of the green arrows post, i'll direct your attention to a blog i found last week, aptly titled Awesome Tapes from Africa. the guy who runs it apparently has a large collection of african tapes (predominantly west african), which he has digitized and posted for our pleasure. I gave the collection a cursory look through last week and downloaded the whole John Chibadura and the Tembo Brothers tape. Here's one of the tunes off of that album--hit up the site for more.
