24 year old Lauren Dukoff picked up photography from her father, a commercial photographer. Lauren dropped out of photography school after one year to work with longtime friend Devendra Banhart and other members of the LA naturalismo movement. her work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Spin, Nylon, Elle, and the LA Times, to name a few (she also did the cover art for Megapuss's debut album). i really like her compositional taste and depth of field. i think her documentary work is best as she is able to transform seemingly candid moments into hallmark moments.
