artist Raymond Uhlir lives in Goleta, CA and is working for his MFA in Studio art from UC-Santa Barbara. i'm enchanted by all five of these pieces because they're full of referential narratives and images...and they wind up being very familiar, and then very funny. they're all a bit Lichtenstein 2.0. and colors that almost seem perfect online. i'll bet they are luscious on paper.....!
