Musical Animation

In response to ND's post featuring Mary Ellen Bute's 1940 "musical film" titled "Tantarella".

Warner Brothers 1960 Cartoon "High Note" (as seen on Looney Tunes circa 1990):

Various musical notes assemble in preparation for a performance of The Blue Danube Waltz symphony. The symphony goes awry when one musical note gets drunk, and wanders about the score. The music matches the drunk note's belligerent shenanigans. Stay toon-ed (hehe) for the "little brown jug" of joy at the end.

And one more gem: The Mushroom Dance sequence from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite in Fantasia, 1940. Yes, 1940 (incredible!). When is Pixar going to start making music videos?
