Just surfing the web today and happened upon another great Flickr find. A man by the webname Aroid has digitized his family's vast collection of personal photos and has been good enough to share them with the world. It looks like there were some dogged documentarians among him- he's uploaded thousands of photos going back fifty plus years.
The sets from the '50s and '60s are particularly compelling (some favorites below). His more recent Insecta set is pretty great, too (also below).
