i am suuuch a sucker for high tops but find it hard to wear them all the time. Y-3's spring 2008 shoe line did it right; they're the perfect chic sneaks. i know thats what the whole ergonomic-design philosophy behind the Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas line is all about, but in the past i've found their sneaks to be too transformer-eurotrash-labely to ever consider wearing
the spring 08s look totally practical and cool, though.
the junori high top sneakers have velcro closures on the sides and elastic closures on the front. the shape/materials are cool enough for me to turn a blind eye to the Y3 tramp stamps on the sides.
