Prom Night

Stickin with electro tuesday - I really enjoy it when artists overlay their prog-disco tracks on vintage 70's videos. Here's a new jam from Linus Loves. How quickly can you name the movie?

And another from an ML favorite, Breakbot. Not sure where this video is from, but Kurt Russell's playing a mean bass and looking great in the sweater vest.

"A Thing for Me"

Video for Metronomy's "A Thing for Me." Song is a bit annoying, but the video's clever conceit makes it worth a watch.

Listening to the song, you can tell that behind the lurching rhythms and annoying, Devo-esque noises, that there is indeed something special here... and it didn't take long for Monsieur Breakbot to tease it out.

Breakbot Short Film

Breakbot is one sweet dude. Before exploding onto the electro scene, Breakbot, aka Thibaut Berland, studied film and graphic design. A true modern-day Renaissance man, n'est-ce pas?

Here's a short film he directed entitled "Overtime." The film is a tribute to Muppet creator, Jim Henson.
