burton and depp go down the rabbit hole (and we get to come with)

a NEW Tim Burton ALICE IN WONDERLAND is being filmed with Johnny Depp as the mad hatter (yessss) and Mia Wasikowska (below right) as alice. the movie will mix CGI with live action, so it won't be ready until 2010. i think it was a good move when johnny d retired the whole badboy thing and vowed to only accept roles in films his children would enjoy... i bet alice will blow pirates of the caribbean completely out of the water.

and if you haven't seen the alice in wonderland mashup we posted a while back definitely watch it. its all sounds and images from the 1951 disney "alice in wonderland" film.

i'd buy that ringtone

(via Buzzfeed) A strangely compelling electronica song (and video) composed of sounds from the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland. Made by a 19-year-old in Australia, “Alice” kind of lulls you into a state of semi-consciousness filled with Cheshire cats and flowers wielding batons.
