winter solstice

the shortest day of the year has come. today marks the day that the position of the earth's telluris axis is 23° 26' (tilting away from the sun). from here on out earth's steering toward the sun. everything's up hill from here, kids!

That's a relief, it seems like I haven't seen the sun for months; having said that, I do live in England, so I probably won't see it in the summer either... but hey, roll on those long summer evenings.
