i finally own nuggets...Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era was originally released in the early-70's as a double LP featuring obscure acts of the mid-60's psychedelic/garage/proto-punk (it's actually pretty hard to label all these groups with one distinct genre) explosion. Since then it's been re-released twice--once again as a double LP and then later in '98 as an expanded 4 CD mega comp. It's a fantastic collection of tunes and strikes that rowdy, reckless, and exuberant tone that we all love about punk rock--or, for that matter, rock as it's meant to be played.
