millau viaduct

the Millau Viaduct connects Paris and Béziers and is the world's tallest vehicular bridge. at it's highest point the bridge spans 1,125 ft off the ground taller than the Eiffel tower and a mere 125 ft shorter than the Empire State building). to give drivers better visibility and to prevent the sensation of floating above the clouds, the bridge was constructed with a 3% slope. must bike across this before i die:
