guy bourdin was a fashion photographer frequently featured in french vogue between 1950-1980 and peaked in the 1970's. he was a surrealist and an existentialist. he changed fashion photography. he created scenes that fashion just lived in...he rejected "the tyranny of the product." i like his color photographs the best...his use of primary colors is remarkable.
