kidrobot was created by designer Paul Budnitz in 2002 with the vision of creating a new artistic movement combining the design of toys, apparel, art prints, and basically everything else dealing with pop culture and aesthetics. the MOMA acquired thirteen kidrobot toys last year for their permanent collection. the toys range in price from $6-$20,000 dollars. kidrobot has collaborated with several artists including the Gorillaz and Tim Biskup. toys, apparel, etc may be purchased at kidrobot gallery/boutiques in new york, LA, san fran, and miami or online.
