crystal stilts' new album, in love with oblivion, is due for release april 22nd, and below is one hell of a song that'll be on it. this one's been kicking around for a while...i first came across it on a daytrotter set they did a while back, but this studio recorded version is fleshed out and trudges along with a burnin 'waiting for the man'-style piano plink.

since releasing their debut album Alight of Night last year, crystal stilts have done a great job at continuing to kick out top notch material. and with a small feature (the new new york cool huh?) in February's issue of Spin Magazine, they're beginning to garner some serious attention. here's their newest single and an unreleased track performed live for Daytrotter--click through for more.
