Jonathan Adler believes:
That when it comes to decorating, the wife is always right.
Unless the husband is gay.
Colors can't clash.
In mantiques - suits of armour,
worn chesterfield sofas, heraldic tapestries.
You should throw out your Blackberry
and go pick some actual blackberries.
Jonathan Adler creates interesting decorative home accessories and pottery that are whimsical, witty and wild. Born in New Jersey in 1966, Adler went on to Brown University where he studied semiotics and art history, but he spent most of his time creating pots at RISD. Then, after some time in the movie industry, he realized his true passion was creating pottery. Adler's work got purchased by Barney's in 1994 and from there his empire grew. He is now working on a project where he will do the interior design for a real life Malibu Dream House to celebrate Matell's Barbie's 50th birthday. You can find Adler's work on his website, as well as on FredFlare.
