Just apply my function ...What does that even mean?

Just apply my function to see my opinion.

Does your movie have voice over that furthers narrative?

Yes-
I do not like it.

No, it uses voice over from a flawed character who cannot necessarily trust-
I like itAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8476683704541302842.post-54570813339134738912009-04-16T10:00:00.000-07:002009-04-16T10:00:00.000-07:00what about wes anderson?what about wes anderson?Madame Lambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16323618744490046763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8476683704541302842.post-34558266294304027732009-04-15T20:07:00.000-07:002009-04-15T20:07:00.000-07:00You know what, I'm going to go ahead and say that ...You know what, I'm going to go ahead and say that I have never been a fan of voice overs in movies. Now don't get started with your Shawshanks and your Forest Gumps.

I think voice overs are a cheap tool used by film makers to convey narrative that they can't get across on screen.

The indian stands alone.

PS: Gump gets a free pass because the narrator does nothing but add to character development, doesn't do much in the forwarding narrative department. Also I guess it allows to see Gump's point of view when they jam 8 scenes in 2 minutes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
